Anyway if you saw my last post about Haruhi, and the last video of the song called God knows..

Well I just found something just as cool!

I’m so gonna get guitar hero cus of this.

This anime like..totally rocks? 

Its the kind that I like like gintama hahaha.

The main character is this girl who’s really bored with normal life (like me) and she forces only the weirdest or most random things to be allowed near her. When she jus arrived in the school she introduced herself like this.

“I’m not interested in ordinary people. If you came from outer space, or from the future, or you have a supernatural power, come to my place”

Basically the whole story is about how this group of friends she has, has to keep her having fun and entertained, otherwise the world may just end as they know it. Its quite a strange story but the quality of animation helps Suzumiya Haruhi pull it off in this anime! This is a highly recommended anime by me. Watch after prelims or something! 

This is Haruhi and shes quite a pretty character by anime standards. (Fine say I’m weird but its true!)

She had this ‘phase’ at the start of the series when she tied her hair differently everyday? Monday was let-down, Tuesday was one pony tail, Wednesday was 2 pigtails, Thursday was 3 and it only increases as the number of days go by. It was so cute la! And her hair was really long? If you know me well enough you’d know that I LOVE long hair! haha so fun..BACK TO THE TOPIC. Anyway Kyon, the male lead of this series commented on her hair one day. Just talked about how her was always different. The next day she chopped off her long hair!!! X( But she still looks real pretty =D

The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi is only about 14 episode long and is only one part of the longer manga series (9 novels). One of the weirdest things you will encounter when you watch it is that the episodes do not run in chronological order and can be very confusing! Its hard to watch it like…episode 1,2,3,4,5. The true chronological order is actually like, 2,3,5,10,13,14,4,7,6,8,1,12,11,9. 

She’s been one of the MOST cosplayed character these days and after you read this, you can probably recognise her if you go to cosplay events. 

Ok as usual I’m gonna end off with a couple of videos.

And last but DEFINITELY NOT LEAST is a song featured in episode 12 called “God Knows..” by ENOZ and it ROCKS!! I listened to it on repeat the whole day la haha. Hope I don’t get sick of it soon!

After a LOOONG break i shall update you about some facts of my life.

CT2: was quite an experience. i actually tried to study properly and am glad it paid off! Sorta.

got ACCDS for PMGpAE respectively. With little time left for Prelims and coursework…im very pretty stressed right now ><

I’m pretty sure quite abit of things happened but im jus gonna go on to…

NSSCC 08: Probably my LAST climbing comp as a VJ climber. We definitely did better last year. I got 3rd for individual. Had to beat aaron to do that. Feel kinda bad about it >< but i guess at least i didnt disappoint the others by at least getting 3rd.

We got 3rd for speed team. I would think that we had a chance at getting 1st and being the fastest team! but the chance would have been slim la. But we still pulled through so kudos to all my teammates! Antz,Dom and of course the invaluable Zeri.

For girls, xx got 3rd for indi and the girls team got 4th. Don’t blame yourselves girls! We all think you all did great and thats all that matters! I’m not exactly sure about how the difficulty went. Think leo got 2nd for his category.

Coursework presentation on Friday. Hope I can get enough done by then ><.

Well spent much of the day working on my coursework and playing games. (more of the latter)

Basically did a skeletal structure and built some mass with aluminium foil. Some proportions are wrong so I’m gonna have to make some amendments.

In any case got help with sculpting out the face but this will still be a rough base instead of final detailed form.

On a seperate note, Granny asked me if I wanted a drink to go with dinner. With my old maid gone and my Granny’s lack of awareness and english ability, I got some..

Drank it all though I thought it tasted kinda bad. Still prefer mountain dew haha.

Hi friends. Just to keep me motivated on my coursework I’ll be posting beginning now.

I’ll be trying to sculpt some sort of a normal man transforming into an armored hero sort of character.

I’ll just show you the kind of materials and techniques I’m going to have to learn.

Note: Following pictures are from a tutorial found at ConceptArt.org

This is sorta a skeletal structure that’ll form the base of the thing you’re sculpting.

Afterwhich, epoxy putty is applied onto the key joints to fix them in place. Epoxy putty is sorta like plasticine. It comes in 2 parts. The resin and the hardener. When mixed and kneaded together they’ll harden in about an hour or 2. During this time is can be sculpted and played with. After it hardens its like plastic hard but can still be filed and stuff.

The figure will then be bulked up with more epoxy or alternatively with other materials like plasticine or clay.

More putty is applied and sculpted with muscle contours in mind.

Texture is slowly created one by one with tools. (This is gonna be painful)

But it looks hella good! More texturing and fine tuning of details is done for killer effects.

Paint will be applied layer-by-layer via airbrushing. Various colours will be used to create a more realistic effect rather than just one colour with tones. Final product….

If only I could make something so awesome. If I can achieve HALF this quality I’ll be happy enough! Well wish me luck, I’ll be using the process and method to try and get my own sculpture done. Will post more about it!

So i got a chiobu to help me cut ribbon for my new blog here.

To be honest i actually i nothing to blog about. In any case, current plans for this blog will be to record my art coursework progress as well as show you guys any amusing things i find around.
